I want my life to be one of service and impact, where I can apply the wisdom and experience I’ve gained working for governments to help make government work better for all of us, to help make democracy work better for all of us, especially the people of Thornhill.

Laura Mirabella is a professional accountant with 27 years of experience in the private and public sectors.

She has served as a municipal executive and Treasurer for the City of Vaughan and for York Region. She has advised provincial and municipal governments, and corporate boards. She has dedicated time to non-profit organizations in both York Region and Toronto.

Currently Laura Mirabella is a member of the Foundation for the McMichael Canadian Art Collection and sits on the Friends Committee of The Prosperity Project, a Canada-wide organization devoted to making sure that COVID-19 does not set women back from the progress they have made.

For the past 18 years Laura has provided government with non-partisan, evidence-based advice, and pragmatic policy options to help them serve their constituents and deliver value to their taxpayers.

The time has come for Laura Mirabella to put that experience to work as part of Steven Del Duca’s team of Ontario Liberals.
